Child and Adolescent Mental Health Rajanagarindra Institute is the government organization supported by the Department of Mental Health under the Ministry of Public Health. It was established as the Institute of Child and Adolescent Mental Health on August 29, 2001. In 2003

 One of our main mission is develop to be a Center of academic excellence  and services in national adolescents mental health and psychiatry. regarding in technology, research, training, databased and information. 

Duties and Responsibilities of Academic 
         1) To be responsible for the adolescence research projects according to the policies of 
             the Department of  Mental Health and Child and Adolescent Mental Health 
             Rajanagarindra Institute.
         2) To disseminate research output and academic output.
         3) To provide advice and information regarding research procedures to the personnel of Child 
             and Mental Health Rajanagarindra Institute and research groups.
 
Research: Outstanding output from Child and Adolescent Mental Health Rajanakarindra Institute.
       1.  A survey of the intelligence of Thai children aged 6-17 at the national, regional, and provincial levels, for benefits in planning appropriate care for Thai children in each locality, which will result in providing Thai children with the appropriate development for each age, the appropriate emotional potential and maturity, and maturation as valuable human resources for our nation in the future.
      2. The Child and Adolescent Mental Health  Rajanagarindra Institute has achieved excellence at the national level in providing mental health and psychiatric services regarding attention deficit disorders in children and adolescents.
 
Duties and Responsibilities of Training Center.
      1) To survey and analyze the needs for training courses  and educational resources for training  and knowledge regarding the mental health of children, adolescents and their families among  external agencies and the general public, using an analysis of databases of past projects /activities regarding the mental health of children and adolescents and various trends nowaday, taking into account various types of information about our society.
      2) To set the curriculum and prepare a calendar of training activities for each year.
      3) To plan and design a management system.
      4) To conduct knowledge management by following up on post-training evaluations from each project (about 3 to 6 months afterwards) in order to set guidelines for further development of the curriculum for each project.

      1. A guidelines for further development of the Adolescence counseling curriculum for area health based  health personnel working in psychosocial clinic.
      2. The training courses  about solving problems of hearing and speech for health and education personnel working with children and adolescents.
